Money, Spirituality, and The Law of Attraction
Through the ages, spirituality has somehow become divorced from money – earning it, feeling good about it when one has embarked on a spiritual path. And so we find countless enlightened individuals who live exemplary lives touching others and empowering others, yet find themselves in less than optimum (to say the least) financial situations.
We need to understand that we reward ourselves through our feelings and attitudes, we create the lives we live and if we hold the attitude that money is evil, money is the root of all evil, all rich people are evil, money leads to one’s downfall, instead of feeling that money empowers, money is my outward reflection of my inner knowledge of abundance, money makes it possible for me assist others by translating my love for them in teaching them to fish for themselves, well then money will be scarce and enlightenment does not pay the bills….
Abraham teach abundance, they teach that we hold the key to our deserving, to our receiving.
What if we create beautiful manifestations – the house we dream of, the car we would love to drive, the holiday for our family, even just getting out of debt, and we do not feel deserving of it coming to us because somewhere in our minds we block it? We block it by believing that we will be seen as less spiritual because we earn enough, more than enough for our needs believing, still, that money is the root of evil and since we are enlightened, loving, empowering, teaching people we need to be an example of what we teach!
What if it is not true? What if money is just another form of the abundance that you unlock when you move past the restrictions you place on yourself? What if money is your outer reflection of your inner allowing? There is no blame in all of this just the sweet relief of finally understanding why money has been scarce despite the fact that you have been a light for all in your life giving selflessly, but receiving very little in return.
Shine your light, yes but allow light to be beamed back at you in turn ….and if this light that is being beamed back at you takes the form of money, why are you refusing it? Do you even know that you are refusing it?
Allow it you deserve it every dollar, every pound, ever euro it is your love coming back to you, the bread you cast upon the water….

What a marvelous post – thank you. I think all of us who have been on a spiritual journey over the years who have not manifested abundant money in our lives need to look at our beliefs about money. A really good tool to use to assist us in uncovering our unconscious beliefs can be found in Alan Tutt’s new book ” Choose To Believe”. It’s on Amazon.

It’s difficult to comprehend as our whole lives we have been programmed to believe you have to invest sweat, blood and tears or be a crook to get rich.
I do believe their are those that get rich by the sweating method and that their are those that get rich because they feel they absolutely deserve it. Often these people when you get to know them, are generous, kind and make a living by doing what they love like painting, singing etc. They also tend to give away freely of their money by tithing and donating. They have no fear of lack.

I was online searching today for some advice because my brother is offering me money to help with one of my bills and at first I thought of telling him no because I wanted to take responsibility and pay for it myself even if it took me having to make partial payments to pay the bill in full. But I thought that if I refused his offer of money that I was refusing money coming into my life and now that I think about it it really is the law of attraction at work as far as me having my desire to bring more money into my life and why would I want to refuse it – that’s just like me saying that I don’t want money!
