Focusing on the light
Abraham say – feeling good is the most important of it all. And they repeat it. And repeat it. And repeat it.
And there is a reason for this which transcends your usual feel good exhortations. The reason is this:
We have a human way for dealing with issues. And our human way is to get into the topic, research it, think about it, form committees about it, have seminars and events about it, make laws against it, march in the streets about it, wrestle with it, spend sleepless night struggling with it, write books about it, talk endlessly about it, drive ourselves nuts thinking about it – and the issue remains, enlarged because of our intense focus on it. And now we think we have a real problem. And we do. We created it.
If you can truly get it – GET IT – that everything you are seeing which is “real” (funny word, that) is a movie which you directed and which you shot, that there is NOTHING out there, that it is all playing out inside you, that the co creation is fooling you into believing that others feel the same way, …. think for a moment – there is nothing out there, it is all inside you, playing off…. then since you create it, you control it, and since you control it, you can change it in the blink of an eye.
Just allowing yourself to entertain that possibility for a second, already sets in motion certain things that make it easier for you, eventually, to really understand this.
AND – because we are in effect nothing but pure positive energy, and our connection to Source is all that matters, the quickest way to get back into alignment with that stream of energy which is All, fixes All, knows All, and is You and I, is to focus on the light and recognize everything else for what it is…. focusing on things that do not serve us at all.
We are here to experience Joy through our actions, relationships, everything in our experience. Joy underpins it all, Joy keeps the stars in our sky and the love in our hearts, Joy is what it is all about. And our focus is our free will, – we can choose. And so let us choose to focus on the Light, that everlasting Light which has brought us together and will be bringing us together until Duality ceases and we are all One again.
You are Light.
Living out loud – dismantling the blocks in your way!
We all want better lives. We want to be able to think clearer, act more appropriately, feel better, and see more abundance in our lives.
I have been wondering which analogy to use to illustrate the awesome power that we have in the creation of our lives, every waking and sleeping moment that we are alive in these bodies on this wonderful planet. And I think the analogy of us as painters, artists, is the most apt and useful one for us to use here.
See yourself standing in front of a blank canvas, brush in hand. The easel is at the right height, the room has enough light, and you are ready to go.
Your thoughts go to colour. Which colours do you use? And this is where the analogy is the most striking – the colours you use will affect your WHOLE CANVAS, the whole painting. It will turn it into a mudpool of depressing colours, slapped on any old how, something you would rather not have on your walls, a painting that drags your spirit down and of course the drab colours will affect the WHOLE PAINTING.
In this way, imagine what happens when you choose your colours with care, reflecting carefully about what you want to portray, consciously creating a picture that will reflect who you really are, that will reflect joy and YOU in all your myriad facets!
In exactly this way, the vibrational level that you occupy most of the time is equal to the colours you choose, and the canvas represents your life, the one you live every single day, and of course also your development and expansion as creative being. AND it will affect every single object or person that you include in your painting – and so, in this way, everything and everyone around you is affected by your vibrational level. People appear happier, life is easier, things just happen beautifully. Imagine what we can do to change the world in this personal way! When we understand that this is in our power to do, that we can touch the lives of others simply by being our best selves, then we understand also that nagging others to change themselves so we can be happy is not necessary at all. All we need to do it to change ourselves, choose our colours with care, and do our best painting. No one is expecting a masterpiece – in fact, everything that we do, everything that we give our attention to (even the drab paintings) are creations of ours that allow us to shine (or not) on others.
Let us live out loud, firstly simply because we are here, and then, because we can.

Message from your angels
Today, start your day with wonder. Look at everything as if you are seeing it for the first time – because you ARE seeing it for the first time, every time you look at it…. You keep recreating it, moment after moment after moment, anew, all the time.
How marvelous you are – your angels are surrounding you, all the time –
Start your day with wonder.

Toxic relationships and the Law of Attraction
The Law of Attraction has been taught, and in most cases is being taught, in such a way that it appears to have no connection points to general psychology – and general psychology terminology has become part of our language usage ever since therapy showed its face on our horizons.
It feels to a lot of folks that the Law of Attraction exists in a world of its own, a total break away from any other field that attempts to interpret human behaviour.
In fact, this is not true. The Law of Attraction simply describes the way the universe (we) bind incidents together, that which we use to construct our lives and the stories of our lives – it is a Law of Cause and Effect. It is compatible with any other rationale, can be integrated in any other way of thinking, is part of and the background of all that we are and do and have. And the ability to integrate the best of what we have believed with our knowledge of the LOA, makes us the complete beings we are.
Take the concept of Toxic Relationships. It has become apparent to me that in many cases, subscribing to what the LOA teaches has put blinkers on us, sometimes makes it hard if not impossible for us to realize that there are still belief systems in which we function, and that, just like steering clear of negative stuff in our lives, steering clear of toxic relationships and understanding why we attract those in our lives can be part of our picture, our growth, our unfolding and the learning of the lessons we need to learn in order to use those relationships to steer us clear of who we are not and towards who we are.
We choose our parents. Ouch. We know before this lifetime what we are coming to do during this one – we set up the scenarios and people and events that unfold before us like a play – and such it is, a play, our play, leading us to who we can be. And through the choosing of our parents, we also choose parents who do not teach us how to recognize bad relationships, who do not teach us how to keep ourselves safe, emotionally and otherwise. (And of course there is no real danger anywhere, ever.) And then their teachings (skewed as they are – resulting in adults who are naïve, trusting, unable to recognize red lights in other people, in relationships) and the way we emerge from them attract teachers who enforce these beliefs we hold, and on and on – the Law of Attraction in action.
And then one day we arrive at a place where all the stage lights go on – almost all at once – and we find a term which speaks to us, which illuminates the difficulties we are having in our lives – like Toxic Relationships – and the pieces of the puzzle fall into place. And we understand that those teachers who did not equip us with the knowledge to be able to navigate the seas of our life, who protected and coddled us and at the same time abused and crossed our boundaries – we were not even taught healthy boundaries – are our most important teachers because that is NOT WHO WE WANT TO BE – NOT who we are – and against the backdrop of that we suddenly understand what we came here to teach.
I am grateful to my parents, to every unbalanced unhappy relationship I have ever had, and I raise my glass to the fact that I have my headlights on now – that I can recognize healthy from unhealthy, and that I know I attract more of the good stuff, at last.

Out of balance, out of power – Uriel heals – Jennifer Hoffman
From our human perspective our life is a series of lessons, opportunities, periods of joy and sorrow that we try to manage while remembering our spirituality and trying to make everything fit so that we can be happy and successful. But as with everything in the Universe, it is much more than that. We are on a mission to bring a new world order, a new paradigm for humanity that is the spiritual human and to do that we have to create balance between the spiritual and material. This balance is actually about detachment, within which we are at zero point on the polarity scale. We find this point of equilibrium by choosing how we will respond to our lessons, by creating balance or seeking revenge.
When we are out of balance we are out of integrity with our internal power source, which is our connection to Spirit. Then every situation in our life makes us feel powerless, ineffective, we struggle and look for acknowledgement in our outer reality. But it cannot exist there until we find our balance within. This can become a frustrating exercise in seeking out people and situations that will prove to us that we are right and worthy and deserving of love and respect. And we are, but we are not going to find it until we find and resolve our inner source of imbalance.
We are so powerful that the Universe lets us choose how we will respond to the world, it will never tell us what to do although it will provide us with strong hints as to the source of our healing and resolution, which is what will bring us into balance. But instead of agreeing, we try to prove the world wrong and we seek revenge, trying to change the outer reality instead of going within and correcting our internal imbalance. We spend so much time proving the world wrong instead of remembering that it is only an illusion, a mirror of our own energetic paradigm.
We are spiritual people, loving souls whose energetic vocabulary does not include revenge because it is a “bad” thing that others do. But any time we believe that the world is wrong, we are right and we will do anything we can to prove that, revenge is our energy and where we focus our efforts. And we make ourselves powerless through these actions. Instead, we can ask how we can be detached, find that neutral power and then we will bring ourselves in balance, so that we can powerfully create our reality in a way that allows the world to mirror our power back to us.
