There are experiences waiting for you, grand adventures of soul and spirit that only you can have, for they are unique and individual; they are the way only you can have them.

And so, of course, they wait for you outside of what others have told you. For how can anyone else tell you how to walk your path, when it lies through a jungle no one else has ever entered, crosses a desert filled with oases no one else has discovered, leads to the mountain no one else has yet climbed?

Your path is the one that lies right in front of you, lit by only one or two footsteps that glow gold before you. You step forward into that glow and then one or two more footsteps appear. You step into the jungle and see a glowing symbol carved on a tree that seems to say, “This Way.” And this, then is your path.

It is shrouded in mystery. It is for you alone. Another person, standing before that same tree, might see nothing or perhaps an arrow pointing the opposite direction. For your journey is your own.

And why is this important to know? Because it requires you to have absolute belief in your own instincts, that little voice that suggests to you that what someone else is saying might not be right for you; that little tug that says that the ceremony someone else is performing would be slightly different if you were to follow your own instincts. All of this, these tugs, voices, and hunches, are not extraneous. They are central. They are, in fact, what matters.

For once you free yourself from the directives of others, once you become a student to your own intuitive instruction, things will become clearer. Once you begin to take from others only what resonates deeply within you and ignore the rest, then your own internal voice will become clearer and clearer. And then, with this clarity, your own internal voice will become distinct and you will be able to branch out and have amazing soul adventures with complete faith that you are, in fact, doing exactly what you are meant to do.

Listen. Feel. Know. Step. Dare. Reach. Laugh.

Ah, what an adventure this life is. How fortunate you are, how blessed, how steeped in grace. Enjoy!

In response to a question about marketing:

Law of Attraction says, when you are a match to your desire, the Universe will deliver you to it and it to you. When people are marketing things— Marketing comes from a place of lack. Allowing comes from a place of knowing.

It’s a fine line, we know. People will say— Hay House told Jerry and Esther, “We’re going to allow this book.” And Esther said, “What does that mean?” And they said, “That means we’re gonna get it in all of the bookstores where people can find it if they want it.” Esther said, “That’s a perfect vibrational match to what we are wanting.”

When the movie “The Secret” came out, it was extremely uncomfortable to Jerry and Esther because the marketing campaign was so aggressive. They said, “It is not the allowing that we are accustomed to doing. We want to put things in places where people can find them but we want to allow the experience to be.”

And so, when you realize that you are a magnetic being, you are a vibrational being, and when part of you is vibrating here and part of you is vibrating there, now there’s enough discord in your vibration that what you’re attracting is not what you are reaching for. Where, when you take the time to bring yourself into alignment, so that you’re offering one signal, when Law of Attraction responds to that one signal, now the results are not only speedy but as fine as they come.

In the last post I raised the example of you getting offered a business opportunity, and you immediately getting a feeling that it was a bad deal. I asked you if it was your intuition warning you, or your negative programming just creating a negative thought to sabotage you and keep you stuck.

So what did you come up with? And how do you know for sure?

Well I have some bad news. When you are in a negative thought cycle, there is no way to really know yourself. Your negative programming will always cause you to find the cloud in every silver lining. The good news is that once your prosperity consciousness has developed, you will be deeply in touch with your intuition and know the difference. But what do you do until then?

You need to have people further along the journey than you, who help you out. You need to be able to “check things out” with them. They will know you, and your negative tendencies. So they can advise you whether the course you are disregarding may actually have some value.

That doesn’t mean they are investment advisors or they replace lawyers, accountants, and other appropriate professionals. But it does mean that you have an external source to check things out with. And that helps you develop your positive instincts. Look for people that are living the kind of life you want, and who are confident enough in who they are that they don’t need to shoot you down. Look for people that care about you enough to tell you the truth in a loving way. Then when you reach that state, you can pay it forward to others.
